True singers that are naturally born and talented are hard to come by nowadays. With the new age of autotune and being able to efficiently edit voices, many voices that audiences hear over speakers are not the artist’s real voice. Yet, as I was in Paris, attending a conference on music and how social media effects it. This is where I met @insyde, founder of Shoelace Records and an 18-year-old sensation.

It was actually a coincidence how we met, I was wandering around the conference, trying to find the restroom, and as I was talking by, I heard him. Insyde was doing what he loves, singing, in front of a large group of people that had started to gather. It was actually an awe-inspiring moment, someone simply doing what they loved, and people were loving it. So obviously, I joined the crowd and asked the French man next to me who was actually singing. He responded in broken English that it was Insyde, an up and coming singer that has been attracting record labels and attention everywhere he goes. So, as I started to listen more, I knew I had to talk to him, and that is exactly what I did.

Insyde is a super down to earth guy given his level of fame that he has achieved ever since he started singing back when he was a kid. Now, he has a massive following and is known worldwide. I asked him how his career was doing since he had only been in the game for a short amount of time, yet he seemed to have achieved so much in that time period. How Insyde described it: a movie. When he first released his music on Soundcloud, he immediately became viral and his music has been streamed over 5 million times. Another pivotal moment in his success was when he dropped his first single, it got over 1 million streams within 2 weeks. This is just another testament of how diverse and incredible Insyde is and people should be paying attention to his immense success.
