Hailing from Brisbane, Australia, rising star Ethan Beer is riding a wave all the way from the Gold Coast to LA on his quest for mainstream success in the global pop arena. Ethan began his music journey performing in church and school at the early age of six, and wrote his first song at the age of eight. In the years that followed, Ethan played a lead role in a number of musicals, including Bruce Bogtrotter in ‘Matilda the Musical,’ presented by Royal Shakespeare, where Ethan showcased his musical talents in front of large audiences throughout Australia. He also starred in the short film “Not Like Me” as the lead actor, before making his way to Los Angeles to begin working on his debut project.

One of the most exciting aspects of Ethan’s future is that he writes, produces, and records a lot of his own music. “I came from a musical family and gravitated towards the guitar at age 12. I looked up to Ed Sheeran and bought a loop station and tried to mimic him as much as possible, before venturing into finding my own sound.”

Outside of the music: “I’ve been enjoying down-time due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It’s weird because I had a lot of momentum collaboration wise that came to a halt. But, it’s a good reminder that we can have a life outside of music and work. Sometimes that can become an idol and it affects relationships and other things that we neglect whilst being busy. I’m definitely still staying productive, writing, recording, and filming a lot of content for social media, but it’s been good to relax.

What’s next: “Hopefully an EP by end of year. I’m working on a lot of music. I’ve been collaborating with Harv from Black Star and have really enjoyed working with him and his team.
