How has a strong women changed your life? Have they created new roles, new ideas, or new companies that have effected your life in a deep way. When someone thinks of a strong woman, they think of someone who goes out into the world and makes a positive change. One woman in particular, Dr. Mona Stone, is that type of strong woman that we need in our lives. Through being a world class surgeon to being a community activist, Dr. Stone does it all!

Dr. Mona Stone, is not only an esteemed oral and maxillofacial surgeon practicing full scope surgery, she is an activist, philanthropist and the co-founder to the grassroot organization RealHeroNeedsmasks. This organization has the sole goal of making sure that the real heroes, especially those during this pandemic, get the masks that they so desperately need. Yet, this is not the only passion that Dr. Mona Stone has, she also has a passion for dental and doctorial practices.

After receiving her dental degree from UMKC she went on to do a year of internship at Truman Medical Center. Then a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Broward General Medical Center. Currently, Dr. Mona Stone practices a full scope of the specialty including maxillofacial pathology, dentoalveolar surgery, implant surgery, maxillofical reconstruction, microvascular surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, and trauma.

She is also attending surgeon at Baylor Medical Center in Grapevine, Irving, and at Methodist Hospital.

Besides her role in the community she is a mother of two beautiful toddlers, Max, 1, and Sofia, 3. She’s an avid supporter of motor sports, Formula 1, a TikTok creator and social media activist. So in short, Dr. Mona Stone does it all and has touched many lives with the positive impact that she has done on both herself, her family, and society as a whole.
